LANYSC is an initiative established by a group of Latin American scientists and professionals who work in various areas related to chemistry to increase the visibility, collaboration and knowledge of the different projects carried out by Latin American students (undergraduate and graduate), professionals and academics in Latin America and the world.
In July 2020, the Ecuadorian Julio Terán, observing the need to generate a platform that can allow the collaboration of students, professionals and teachers who begin their careers in various aspects of chemistry, decided to undertake the gestation of this idea. August 2020, thanks to the unstoppable impetus of a group of young Latin American chemists from Brazil, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Colombia, a network of collaboration and contact was established for people working in chemistry in Latin America and the world, which today it is known as LANYSC. The founding members are indicated in the section “Our Team”.
Promote the dissemination and encourage scientific or innovation initiatives related to chemistry in Latin America to increase the collaboration and development of young Latin American researchers.
Provide a non-profit platform that seeks to promote interaction, collaboration and active training of people who work / want to work on topics and techniques related to chemistry. This platform will promote the sharing of knowledge and resources available in Latin America and the world to expand collaboration opportunities between students, researchers, universities and companies in the world of chemistry.
